Craig K. Perry began to practice law in Nevada in 1989. For most of that time, he has owned and operated his own firm. He also works closely on cases with other attorneys throughout the country. Here are some of the practice areas:
1. Personal Injury Claims. Attorney Perry began his career as an insurance defense attorney. He eventually began representing collision victims, and over the past 25 years has helped Nevadans and visitors obtain compensation for their injuries and property losses.
2. Consumer Protection (Federal Laws). Federal laws protect people from the predatory and wrongful practices of debt collectors, telemarketers, credit reporting agencies, and identity theft. We help protect people under three primary areas of federal legislation: (a) the Telephone Consumer Protection Act ("TCPA"), (b) the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act ("FDCPA"), and the Fair Credit Reporting Act ("FCRA"). Mr. Perry is a member of NACA, the National Association of Consumer Advocates.
3. Consumer Debt Defense. Unfortunately, over the past few years, our nation's financial crisis has led many people to default on their financial obligations. The debt collection industry has boomed, and as an unintended result, so have violations of the law that govern how those debts are collected. We represent debtors who are being sued or been sued. We do not provide debt settlement or debt consolidation services. We only handle cases in the courts of law of Nevada.
